FAQ

When should you book your session?
Sessions book at about 3 weeks in advance and in the summer it can be 6 weeks so the earlier you book, the higher chance you have on getting the date and time you want. I tell all expectant mothers to plan for your session to take place between 35 and 38 weeks. As well, I can pencil your date in as it is best to photograph newborns before 2 weeks of age.

What to wear?
What you decide to wear for your session is an important decision to make. I can help you with your clothing questions in our consultation. I love to see kids wearing clothes that are very colorful and unique, and avoid clothing with prominent logos.  Shoes are optional but I highly recommend bare feet (especially for beach session). In sessions with more than one child, I suggest you keep sleeve length consistent and encourage similar colors/tones for clothing for a cohesive look. However, on the other end of the spectrum, very vivid, bright shirts/hats with jeans are a great option for a more funky-style picture.

How long will the session last?
Your session can last from 1-3 hours depending on the type of session and the children. A newborn session will typically take longer.

How many images will I get?
After our session you will get an online gallery with approximately 30+ images to view and will be included on your flash drive.

How long will it take to see my images after my session?
After your session, I will choose 3+ of my immediate favorite images and post them here on the blog for a Sneak Peek! So, be sure to watch for them! All proofing is online & at your convenience. I have a secure on-line shopping system and your images will be posted approximately 7-14 days of your session. I will send you an email when the proofs are ready.

How long do I have to choose my prints?
Your gallery will remain online for 15 days, after which it will be removed and there will be a $45 relisting fee to reestablish your gallery.
