Catching Up! | Hawaii Portrait Photography

As many of you may have seen via Facebook…last week was Spring Break here on Oahu…and it JUST about killed me! Okay, not really, but almost every baby I was waiting for to be born and some whom I didn’t even photograph in mommy’s belly arrived, along with plenty of families from the mainland, and also some of my favorite clients you’ve seen here before …just wow! I am ALL caught up now, and no one will be left in the dust, especially not me! I got this!

Adorable! | Hawaii Maternity Photography

I absolutely LOVED meeting and spending the evening with this family! I’ll admit, when mom’s tell me that they have a young child that they think will be “difficult” for pictures, I see it as both a challenge and maybe am a little intimidated by these little ones. Who knew right? A small child intimidating an adult? Little Miss “C” was NOTHING of the sort, and so incredibly adorable, I just had to take time to play with her!  I can’t wait for her baby sister to get here, so I can see her again and meet their new little one!

Enjoy the end of your pregnancy Jennifer! I can’t wait to see you guys again!

Be safe Nathan! | Hawaii OpLove Photography

Holly has fast become one of my nearest and dearest friends. Sadly, in just a few days she will have to kiss her husband, Nathan, goodbye and send him off on a year long deployment. If you’re a military family, you know how hard it is to “hold down the fort” in the absence of our service member, but life will and does go on. The night we took these photos was beautiful and we had a lot of fun playing around and even little “S” found mini hermit crabs to entertain us with. The love this family shares comes through in these photos so well. I’m pretty sure my favorite part was sunset, when they caught me off guard and all turned to watch the “sun go to bed”. Sweet, sweet moment! Love these guys!!

PLEASE, be safe Nathan! We’ll miss your mug around here, but I’ll help take care of your girls as best I can in your absence!!

Beautiful Stephanie | Hawaii Maternity Photography

So, the weather in Hawaii lately has been nothing but rain, rain, rain. It made me just a *little* nervous for Stephanie’s session, when usually I’m not. See, just because it’s raining at my house doesn’t mean it’s raining in Ko’Olina…in fact, it’s usually never raining there. But when I got to the gate, it was raining. Luck was on our side though, because the rain stayed away from the lagoons.

Congratulations Stephanie and Daniel! I can’t wait to meet your baby girl!!
