By now if you don’t know who Maddox is…then you don’t read my blog or follow me on Facebook! I met his mommy around June of 2010, and she has fast become one of my favorite people and an awesome friend! You may remember watching her tummy grow with her pregnancy, or her family’s photos on the beach last Christmas.

Well, this year, we did them again, with Maddox now here! The sky that night…left me speechless. It was/is seriously stunning, and I LOVE these photos even more!!

Can I just say…I LOVE Canadians! I’ve lost count of how many families have come to Oahu to vacation that I have had the pleasure of working with, but I’ll never tire of it! This adorable family spent a week here, and aren’t their girls just ADORABLE??!! They did such a good job too!

Thank you SO much “T” family for entrusting me with your Hawaiian memories! I hope your flight home went well! Don’t worry about the snow, just send me some & I’ll send you some sunshine!

From 43 years to 4 months…yes, that’s what Dad told me when he contacted me…I was scared! But we had a good time dodging waves before the sun went down! Beautiful kids…beautiful family!

Remember Mr. Christopher? Well, he is a happy and healthy little chunk of a man! Earlier this month, his family and I got together at the beach for a family session. Let me tell you, I give props to mommy & daddy…three-year old twins and three month old Christopher at the beach…whew! We had fun though and I was excited to see the expressions of the children as they experienced the fun of the wind and the waves.

In my opinion, there is no greater joy in the world, than being a mother. Knowing that I am personally responsible for another little person, and helping to guide them into and through the world…there isn’t anything else in the world that I take more seriously than my job as a mother. Now bear with me…you made need a tissue…

This mommy has added to that dedication and is making the ultimate sacrifice of serving, dedicating herself to making sure that her babies continue to live a free and peaceful life in our beautiful country. In making that dedication, she will be leaving them for a period of time to serve in a far away land. This is where I have nothing by the utmost respect and admiration for her. I have watched my husband leave for months on end and have felt the pain in my heart for my children as they watch him go…but I don’t know that I could actually “put on the boots” and leave them when my country called.

“S” you are my hero! Be safe and come home soon!
