If you follow my blog, you will know that we have been documenting Ashley’s pregnancy by trimester. We started at 18 weeks and she was just beginning to show. Then again at 28 weeks and we had just found out that it was a boy!! So, we had the whole 38 week session planned out…but the Coast Guard (who her husband works for) and baby Maddox had other plans. Ashley had thought that her water broke the day that we were to have her session, so of course, off to the hospital she went. False Alarm. But she continued to have very regular contractions, making us both nervous that the session would not happen. So, earlier than I normally shoot a session, we met up at Magic Island the next morning. I was CERTAIN should would have Maddox that day, and we couldn’t very well NOT document the end of the pregnancy! Well, Maddox decided that it wasn’t the day…and even though we rushed to get the session done, he “hung out” for a few more days. Silly Maddox! Now, be patient with me…you will meet him soon, but first…his beautiful mommy at the end of her pregnancy!
